                         Psychology is an academic and applied discipline that involves the scientific study of mental functions and behavior. Psychology immediate objective understanding of individuals and groups by both establishing general principles and research specific cases and by many accounts , it is at the end of beneficial to the company account.  In this field, a professional practitioner or researcher is called a psychologist, and can be classified as a social scientist , behavioral or cognitive . Psychologists attempt to understand the role of mental functions in individual and social behavior , while also exploring the physiological and neurobiological underlie some cognitive and behavioral processes.
              Psychologists explore such concepts as perception, cognition , attention , emotion , phenomenology , motivation, brain functioning , personality , behavior and interpersonal relationships. Psychologists various bands also consider the unconscious. The psychologists use empirical methods to infer causal and correlation between psychosocial variables. In addition, or in opposition to the use of empirical and deductive methods , some, especially clinical and psychologists sometimes rely upon symbolic interpretation and other inductive techniques advice. Psychology has been described as a "science hub " , with the psychological findings linking the research and prospects of the social sciences , natural sciences , medicine and the humanities, such as philosophy .
                While psychological knowledge is often applied to the assessment and treatment of mental health problems , it is also aimed at understanding and solving problems in many areas of human activity . Most psychologists are involved in some kind of therapeutic role in clinical practice , tips or schools. Many do scientific research on a wide range of topics related to mental processes and behavior, and typically work in university psychology departments or teach in other academic areas (eg , medical schools , hospitals). Some are employed in industrial and organizational settings , or in other areas such as human development and aging , sports , health and media, as well as in forensic investigations and other aspects of the law .
                           Educational psychology is the study of how humans learn in schools , the effectiveness of educational interventions , the psychology of teaching and the social psychology of schools as organizations. The work of child psychologists such as Lev Vygotsky , Jean Piaget , Bernard Luskin and Jerome Bruner has been instrumental in creating teaching methods and educational practices . Educational psychology is often included in the training of teachers in places like North America, Australia and New Zealand.
School psychology combines principles from educational psychology and clinical psychology to understand and treat students with learning difficulties to promote the intellectual development of gifted students , facilitate prosocial behavior in adolescents , and otherwise promote solidarity safe and effective learning environments . School psychologists are trained in educational and behavioral assessment , intervention , prevention and consultation , and many have extensive training in research .
