Diploma in nursing

                         Eligibility for admission to the Diploma in Nursing
1 . The minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 to 25 years respectively.
2 . Minimum educational qualification
a) 10 +2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with Science ( Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with aggregate of 45% marks .
b ) Those who have cleared 10 +2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001 ) from the School recognized by Indian Nursing Council .
c) ANM training IE10 1 ½ years training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination.
3 . Students must be medically fit .
4 . Candidates from other states other than Tamil Nadu shall obtain a certificate of migration certificate from the University / Board and eligibility previous Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University .

                              Eligibility for bachelor courses (N)
1 . Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the Bachelor degree course in Nursing ( Basic ) have passed the qualifying examination ( academic stream ) after a 12-year period of study with physics, chemistry and biology or botany and zoology.
2 . Individual passes in physics, chemistry , biology or botany and zoology (theoretical and practical ) and English with minimum 35% marks in each of the sub - top and with a minimum of aggregate 50% marks in Physics Chemistry , Biology and English is mandatory.
3 . Candidates from other states other than Tamil Nadu shall obtain a certificate of migration certificate from the University / Board and eligibility previous Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University .
4 . Eligibility certificate must be obtained prior to August 31 from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University .
